When does the bleeding start?

Waiting for an expected ectopic pregnancy to be cleared, had the injection last Friday and hopefully my HCG is dropping.

I was only 4 weeks, 5 days. When should I start bleeding? So far I’ve only had mild cramping.

I'm so sorry- curious how they could tell so early in process of miscarraige myself that we feared was ectopic but needed several ultrasounds and hcg tests until week 5 day 5 before ruling out ectopic

Hi this is OP. My numbers on Mon were 210, wed 290 and Fri 190. They knew it wasn’t viable and treated as ectopic as an extreme precaution.

I was nearly 6 weeks when we realized my last FET was ectopic. I had my first methotrexate injection on a Friday, started spotting on Monday, and bleeding got heavy on Wednesday. My betas were a lot higher (around 4000 at time of first methotrexate injection) and they plateaued before falling, so I needed additional injections.
OP, whether it is you RE or OBGYN who did the injection, they really should be following up with repeat betas to make sure it is working.
