Cost of AC for 1 bedroom condo?

I am buying a new condo in DC and looks like the ac systems needs to be replaced. What's the estimate to replace an AC system for 1 bedroom of 550 sqft? All system is electric.

Find out if the machinery is on the roof. If it's on the roof you'll need a company with a crane to haul it up there. $$$

Yep that’s your cost there. Like 2k. Normally a bunch of owners do it at once to help lower costs.

Op here. It is not on the room but right outside the unit on the first floor so easy access. Now, how much it should cost me for a new HVAC system?

Split units won't be cheap for sure.
