Are Pottery Barn bathroom vanities worth the cost?

| Thinking of remodeling some bathrooms and I was wondering if Pottery Barn vanities are worth the cost. Are they higher quality? They look a lot like what is in home depot and the PB website even sings the praises of MDF (HA!). |

Golly, I doubt it.
I've bought two vanities in the past year. One was from Wayfair and one was from Ikea. Ikea was better quality but both were fine. I can't imagine that Pottery Barn would be higher quality than the Ikea vanity. it's quite solid. |

I have a medicine cabinet from PB seems to be high quality! Kind of hard to mess up a medicine cabinet though and I got it for 40% off. OP I would buy a vanity there if it was my best option but I don’t think there is anything special about them. |

This! We ordered a sofa, took months to arrive and the upholstery was so messed up even the salesperson said she’d send it back too. All of their furniture is junk. |

You are looking at quality, not price, and your typical ikea, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Wayfair, Costco, and overstock have some good-enough quality stuff. |

FYI - just a caveat, ikea vanities sometimes don’t mesh well with US plumbing styles. Just make sure that if you’re replacing a vanity your plumbing will fit in an ikea vanity. We have one ikea vanity wheee the plumbing is in the back squeezed against the wall behind the drawers instead of in a big cavity under the sink US style

| Not worth it! We had the same vanity shipped to us three times—damaged each time. You’re better off to purchase a cabinet base, countertop, and hardware that you like. |
