Weird error msg about not receiving texts

| This morning my phone buzzed with a text- it came from my own number and said “you were unable to receive a text message due to a device restriction or insufficient funds.” I have tracfone, but am up to date on my talk/data/texts and have plenty of all available. I've received other texts today just fine. What gives? |

| Sounds like a scam. I would not respond to the message and would call Tracfone if there are further concerns. |
