You need to post your location. But in Maryland or DC, Wilcox has been good for us.

Sorry, in NOVA. I keep forgetting this isn't just a local group.

fyi most master electricians who came to my house to give me a quote for the heavy up to a 200 amp service had their journeymen do the work. i'm in MD so can't help with specific recs.

don't forget to discuss with them what specific brand/model of circuit panel you might want (if you are picky about safety like me) and how many circuits you want. we had planned to do a kitchen update which would add a bunch more circuits and the electrician just brought a panel that had enough circuits to accommodate what we had at the time. had to make him go back and get a bigger panel.

Hawkins electric did a great job on our heavy up and panel replacement.

Do NOT hire Root Electric of Woodbridge! They installed a new panel and mismarked the new circuits! The circuit marked 'Washer' (in the basement) controlled the second floor lights! A few days later I discovered they had failed to wrap the service wires completely, leaving an exposed wire!

Carlos - 240-462-4522. He just did our heavy up to 200 Amps. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Little hard to get hold off considering the high demand this summer.
