what is your favorite mascara?

but i am looking for other ideas. what do you love? i usually wear brown/black.

A good inbetween drug store and high end is Buxom at Sephora. I like it, but when I run out of it I go back to Great Lash by Mabeline (the one with the pink tube and green cap) and I forget how much I love it. I've had my makeup done professionally a bunch recently by different people and a few of them have used Great Lash. It's an oldie but goodie.

I just started using Christian Dior Diorshow mascara, and I love it. I'd heard rave reviews about it so finally took the plunge and it's worth every penny. It takes two seconds to put on b/c it doesn't clump at all. Just goes on perfectly with no fussing. I've ended up tossing every other mascara I've ever bought b/c they all are such a PITA to apply, IMO. So even though this one is pricey, I use it every day so it seems like a pretty good deal.

I like Lash Doubling by Clinique for every day wear. It curls a bit and thickens a bit but not too much, it's perfect for work.

Stays put and comes off easily.

I also like High impact from clinique for more dramatic occasions.

More Than Mascara by Estee Lauder. I get Rich Navy--a tiny bit softer than Black (I'm very fair and have light eyes.) Most department stores don't carry Rich Navy, so I order it online.

My sister told me about L'Oreal Telescopic and I haven't gone back to the expensive brands since trying it.

Second the Dior Show. Three coats and you have the equivalent look of faux lashes (good false eyelashes). The quality is clear in the 'no clumping' formula.

Second the L'Oreal Telescopic. Have been using for years and always gone back to it after a few experiments with Sephora splurges. This works better for me. Ultra light, lengthening, about impossible to screw up. Before the L'Oreal my fave was Clinique Long Pretty Lashes. Telescopic is basically the same with a better brush for me, and cheaper.

so i tried the telescopic. love the brush, hate the mascara. it crumbles off of my lashes as the day progresses. when i visit the bathroom, i have to brush mascara dust off that has accumulated around my eyes.
