What do you order? |
Back when I was skinny… no carbs. |
Tons of places have healthy options now. RightRice @ Cava, cauliflower rice @ Chipotle… Love Sweetgreen salads… |
Anything that sounds good to me, but I stop when I’m full, drink water or tea rather than drinks full of calories, and I do not snack much at all. |
Protein and vegetables. |
Eating out is no big deal. It's all the food you eat NOT eating out that's the problem |
I ate out every meal on the road for 7 years. It becomes less of a novelty and you learn to either order healthy food or eat small portions. |
Many people overeat when they eat out because it is "fun". Just don't overeat and make wise choices. |
Whatever I want but if we are eating out it is my only substantial meal of the day other than maybe a protein bar or shake, maybe a fat free greek yogurt or similar. |
Exactly the same here. I order whatever sounds good and have learned my hunger/fullness cues that eating out and intuitive eating both work well. Years ago I would only let met myself eat out for special occasions and would 'save' calories and always end up overeating because it was such a big deal. |
Whatever I want. For dinner I just had 4 Popeyes chicken legs and mashed potatoes. Yum. |
+1 |
Not me but my sister. Works long hours and her job gives her a take out stipend. Lots of simple lean meat and veggie meals. Low carbs. Minimal creamy or buttery sauces.
If she goes somewhere with minimal healthy choices she will get a kid sized portion and sub fries for veggies. |
I once had a popeyes sandwish ... felt terrible for 2 days. I eat once, maybe twice a day, don't really count calories but keep it around 1800 daily. with minimal carbs. I am still overweight. Had I been eating normally I would have been severely obese. Genetics defihitely plays a role. |
You felt bad for two days after eating a sandwich? You should see a doctor. |
