| Thanks in advance! |
| I'm a legal secretary. I just don't take a lot of vacations. |
| Engineering manager for a dod company. 20 days vacation and 5 days sick. Accrues up to 400 hrs of each. Takins a couple weeks in a row this summer and then another week in oct. |
| I am a self employed lawyer |
| Bump |
| Registered nurse in a hospital setting. I get roughly 6.5 weeks PTO but it carries over, maxing out at 400 hours PTO. I work 3 12 hours shifts a week. My department provides a lot of flexibility with scheduling, so I could pretty much take 15 days off and only use up 36 hours of PTO (which I do in July and August) |
| Elementary school principal |
| Attorney. 5.5 weeks of vacation, 1 personal day, 10 holidays plus sick leave. Always at use or lose. |
+1. Different role at a dod company. I have basically been there for eternity so I am earning vac at higher levels and never used it all. 4 weeks vac, 2 weeks-ish sick, accrued 400 hours (my current cap). |
| Don’t Feds max out at 26 days annual leave and 10 sick days? |

Private school teacher.
11 weeks off for summer 2 weeks winter break 1 week spring break 3 personal days & 5 sick days. |
| School counselor. But I often end up working a second job. Not this summer though! |
| Big pharma. New employees start with 4 weeks vaca, including 2 weeks of company shutdown, 24 hours personal time, all major national holidays, unlimited sick days. I'm pushing 20 years and get 5 weeks annual vaca plus the shutdown, holidays, and personal time mentioned above. It's a use-it-or-lose-it scenario because nothing rolls over. |
26 days annual leave, and 13 days of sick leave. Max carryover of 240 hours. |
