Looks like a dog grooming business. |
master cat groomer

I’ve had cats almost my whole life and had no idea they need grooming, but then again I’ve always had just domestic short hair cats (like tabbies). Maybe the fancier cats need it? Will be interesting to see if this house sells quickly despite this unusual setup. I imagine new owners would need to rip out a lot of stuff in there. |
If I were them, I’d move out all the equipment to show the house. This would turn off people with allergies or otherwise hate animals. I’m selling a house that operates a business and I moved out any evidence of it. |
Yes, because everyone has the financial means to completely shut down their business for some period of time until their house goes under contract. |
In this market, it’s only a short period of time. And time is money. If you turn away buyers the house will sit and you will lose thousands. Moreover, I can’t see them actively grooming while the house is listed. What do you do when someone wants to view your house and you’re in mid grooming? You need to be available at at moments notice or you’ll lose offers that way. |
The house turned me off WAY before I saw the animal grooming room. This place is hideous |
very fancy stuff in there. |
Yup. I was just saying on the thread about the modern house that tastes vary. I like the modern house, but hate this one. Columns, ornate furnishings, ugly metalwork on the chandeliers, grandma window treatments, clunky raised bathroom sinks. This house would take so much work, it's a non-starter for me. |
So clearly obvious.. a pet groomer. |
