Are cyber security jobs safe?

| Are cyber security jobs safer than others from recessions and layoffs, on average? I’ve been told that it’s a good field for reliably high paying jobs and consistently expanding job market. Obviously no job is set for life, but some job markets are expanding whereas others are declining. I heard that there is close to 100% employment (0% unemployment for certified professionals) and jobs can reach six figures fairly quickly. Is this true, or is it changing? Reliable field for someone who prioritizes job stability? |
