how should a kitchen chair cushion fit?

| We just got a new outdoor table set, with regular style chairs (not oversized swivel rockers at every seat) and dh says he wants cushions for just the seat. I saw some Sunbrella ones at costco, but they would overhang a half or quarter inch on all sides. is the cushion supposed to be flush with the edges of the chair? |

| Yes, the should be flush with the edges of he chairs. Otherwise the cushion will breakdown quickly at the front edge due to the lack of support when people are sitting on them. |
