I find fascinating that years ago nobody believed Taylor’s boyfriends/relationships were even real based on how she monetized every detail about each into song. There was a belief they were all beards and she was closeted .
That’s how badly our society looks down on women dictating their narrative |
They actually dated for a few weeks… |
Someone needs to tell Taylor because Matt has had many relationships in the past decade and has one now. Is this like a giant decade long case of you’ve got mail? |
I also now believe William Bowery is Matty Healy and not Joe, who covered for them. “This is not the Chelsea Hotel…” but could it be “The Bowery Hotel”? 🤯 |
Huh? No. |
Yea I have never messaged any of them, just googled. Messaging is basically admitting to yourself you want an affair. Not a good idea. |
Yea William is Joe. He was okay with Taylor sharing that. He also made over 2 million on those songs dnd will continue to get royalties for the rest of his life. |
NO. Joe said on live TV why he used the pseudonym William Bowery. |
Taylor and Matty probably started talking again when Jack worked with the 1975 in 2022. She appeared on stage with the 1975 in early 2023. Joe probably accused her of cheating (“guilty as sin”) and she likely wanted Joe to make a big gesture for her to stay (“you’re losing me”). She puts “invisible string” on the era setlist to prove her commitment, but they break up and she changes it to a Matty song. |
Please. I for one look down on her and question her monetizing everything because she is a billionaire, not for her gender or sexuality. There are no ethical billionaires. I would do the same for a man who was slagging his exes and relationships in all his songs while making billions selling beer cuffs and fishing poles. Especially if said billionaire didn’t even give his fans half the album in the flash presales. |
She was at his show, then he came to a bunch of hers then they imploded. Like they were probably actually physically together maybe a week or two all together. |
She sounds like a psycho in this album. Sorry Taylor, not a good look. |
+1 |
I agree. Change of Heart by his band The 1975 is believed to be about her and why things didn't work out in 2014. The girl in the song says "You're mad if you think you could ever save me" and smashes a glass in the restaurant as they are breaking up. Right Where You Left Me by Taylor tells the same story but from the female's perspective. Including breaking a glass at the "restaurant" that she never left. In that song, Taylor writes "She's still 23 inside her fantasy." And since they are both born in 1989, the math adds to them being 23 in 2012, which is when Taylor probably first fell for Matty Healy and started writing about him. Style and the 1989 album were released 2 full years later, in 2014, which is when they were first linked together. |
Lol, no. "ALL those nights you kept me going, swirled you into ALL of my poems." |
