What job search boards have fast food and retail jobs listed?

McDonald's is hiring.....honestly for fast food jobs, I'd just apply online.

Other than Chick-Fil-A, how many teenagers are working fast food jobs in this area? I haven't been to one of those fast food places in ages, but when I did go it was always adult immigrants who were working those jobs.

My kids have worked in grocery stores, nursing home dietary departments and car garages.

My son worked at a country club in the pool cafe. His friend worked at a nursery/garden center.

Sadly, I've been to these places during the pandemic. I've seen more teenagers working at fast food places than ever before.

I saw the country club job advert on NextDoor and he applied online on the country club's website. His friend saw an ad on the sign at the nursery and then applied online on their website.

Anyplace seasonal. Ice cream shops, landscape supply, swimming pools, golf courses, babysitters and mothers helpers.

Mine mostly found postings on craigslist and I think also signed up for something called Indeed that sends posting that match interest. To be clear the Craigslist jobs weren’t résumé-building internships these were just plain old summer jobs, food service type stuff. But there was a lot there.

Younger than age 15, mother's helper, babysit, rake, mow and shovel. Put info out on your neighborhood listservs.

At 15, get your lifeguard certificate and guard at your local pool.

Other than that? Does your team do a sport or other activity? Mine coached younger ones in their sport at Spring Break and summer camps for years.

Stop in a local store, or shop, and ask if they're hiring. The teenager should do this, not mommy and daddy. Same thing if they're calling stores or shops. If mommy or daddy call me, the teen is not getting a job. I need to see some resourcefulness, and initiative.

My teenagers started asking shops they liked if they were hiring - my DD got a job at 2 different coffee shops just by asking if they hired teenagers. My DS got a job at a sports shop by going every 6 weeks or so and asking if they were hiring.
