Avg cost for in-home day care or nanny share--Silver Spring?

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this question, but thought I'd give it a try. I'm expecting a baby in July and plan to return to work full time in September or October. We're on waiting lists for a few daycare centers and are hoping to get in to my husband's work's on-site daycare. If that doesn't happen or it turns out we feel it's not right for us, we'd like to have a back-up plan. I'm curious what is the average rate for full-time in-home daycare or nanny share in Silver Spring. We are new to the area and don't know a lot of parents in SS yet.
