so we took a 5 minute mask break outside, walk around the school and none of my 4 kids removed their masks, we just walked around the school.

I think a lot of the kids are used to wearing the masks and it’s really not going to be a big deal. The most important thing I’ve noticed when I wear a mask all day at work is that I have one that’s not too tight on my ears. It needs to fit just right. so listen to them when they come home and see if adjustments need to be made. we sent three different masks just in case they needed to switch them out.

One of my kids has been going to school in-person for the last few months and she keeps her mask on in the car ride home because she likes it. lol

Kids get used to them very quickly.

Agreed. Drove me crazy all the people saying that kids won't wear masks all day. I wear mine at work all day like second nature.

Mine does that too! Tell her she can take it off in the car but she says it’s comfortable and she doesn’t mind. I think she wants to be ready in case she see someone she knows.

Imagine bragging about the smug self-satisfaction you are gaining from time spent on such an unproductive activity.

Maybe consider channeling that energy into positively impact society with love and generosity.

Oh weird… I don’t see any smugness there. Maybe try not to look for the negativity?

I teach at a private school and we originally had built several mask breaks into the schedule. Eventually we realized that none of the kids even took their masks off, so we just stopped doing them. The kids have adapt to masks and the other protocols incredibly quickly and well.
