My fitbit has been showing an increased resting heart rate since my first vaccine. Anyone else notice that? |
You sound crazy |
How long since you got the vaccine? |
No, you do. https://www.whoop.com/thelocker/covid-19-vaccine-effects-data/ |
3 weeks |
There’s a dr who had a reaction and his was increased heart rate he needed to be hospitalized. |
This is a company whose interest is in selling a device to monitor heart rate. I'm not saying anyone sounds crazy here, but a peer-reviewed article from an unbiased source would be more believable. |
How much of an increase are we talking about? Any changes in your physical activity, diet (higher sodium food) or stress level over the last 3 weeks? |
Heart rate for women is highly variable. Did you eat salt last night? Are you ovulating? Is it the day before your period starts? Have you been sleeping less? General stress level higher? Drinking less water? Taking melatonin?
But sure, say you're having a side effect and see if you can get some sympathy. |
If you think so, or if anyone notices any potential side effect after receiving a dose of any of the vaccines, report to the CDC at https://vsafe.cdc.gov/. EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY SIDE EFFECTS, you should still register. https://vsafe.cdc.gov/
Doesn't judge if it's a real or imagined side effect or send alarm bells due to one report but is used to collect as much data as possible. |
NP and WTF with your last sentence. How unkind of you. |
Thanks, I will report. |
I would not be surprised because illness itself (including COVID) raises heart rate. I have heard this for years from at least 5 doctors including cardiologists and not only since COVID. |
Right. Who comes up with this? Get back to the office or something |
Why are you so angry? It doesn't affect you. I didn't come up with it. I saw it on my fitbit data and thought I should see if it was something anyone else is experiencing. Sounds like it is common enough. |
