I know I missed it last week. My friend was saying I could still buy because the hedge funds need to cover their shorts. I don’t quite understand so I am reluctant to buy a stock that is so overvalued. I did buy some cvs stock. |
Yes it’s too late. |
If you are asking this question then you have no business investing in stocks. |
Waaaay too late. |
Why would you want to invest in a bricks and mortar company during a pandemic that provides a service that can 100% be done online? |
Of course you can still buy it. It would be incredibly stupid to do so, but Gamestop is still trading. |
No, it’s down so you can still get in. |
It might be a legit play at $20. But it’d need to offer something in the online space as well as transition to being Claire’s for 6-12 year old boys and non-girly girls. |
OP, that was sarcasm in case you missed it. |
It was not. Don’t speak for me. |
You’re right. I incorrectly inferred more intelligence than your post merited. I apologize for the error in judgement. |
Well, yes...but even bankrupt companies still trade. Eventually, depending on the restructuring of their bankruptcy, common shares disappear and you lose all of your money. Until that happens anyone can buy.
But you might as well just set your money on fire, at least it will keep you warm. |
You can buy into that dumpster fire if you want, just don't do it with money you can't afford to lose. |
Buy an ETF instead. |
Not too late.
But it all revolves around being able to find a greater idiot to sell it to. You need to be sure that you are not the biggest idiot.. |
