Combo Instant Pot Air Fryer

Anonymous
We have neither an instant pot nor an air fryer...I'm intrigued by the combo ones as I don't think I'd use either one enough to justify the purchase but would likely use the two together a fair amount. Does anyone have the Instant Pot or Ninja one and would you recommend? TIA!

No, I don't use it, I don't believe it, I think they both are harmful and they suck. That is my recommendation. Nothing that will involve non stick or suspicious glazed surfaces that come in contact with food forever or in a flash.

Wtf are you talking about?

OP here...hmm...ok...just was looking for anyone who might have one of these to offer feedback

OP here again -- didn't realize the combo one was called the Ninja Foodi and see there's a thread on that -- sorry! Will follow that.

I researched the Instant Pot air fryer attachment and saw a few reviews that it has annoyingly limited capacity. We ended up getting a toaster oven with air fryer setting, and are happy with that. I use both the toaster oven/fryer and the instant pot a lot, though.

I have one, got it for Christmas. A duo crisp Instant Pot. It's fine but I don't really get the point of the air fryer. It's just a little convection oven. I guess it's kind of cool but the lid is bulky to store and I might just get rid of it. I love the Instant Pot though.

We have the Ninja; got it about a year and a half ago. Love it. I post often but because it’s not an Instant Pot, no one wants to hear about it. Use it pretty much daily in one capacity or another. Worth every penny, IMHO.

We've used a 6 quart instant pot for a few years and love it. Probably use it once or twice a week. We got the air fryer lid for Christmas. It's ok. The limited capacity comment is correct. The 6 quart instant pot just isn't really big enough to use for the air fryer function.
