It’s a SRO, not exactly an apartment. Used to be many more of those before the city living became cool again.

That looks like a perfectly good apartment for a single person who eats out all the time. New York needs to add a million units like that one, and stop with the two bedroom places with amenities.

I’m from Long Island and grew up saying both. In fact most people I know who say “on the island” aren’t actually from Long Island.
