Speaker Johnson has announced that HE will vote to support Santos.
I guess that is his conscious. Wow, so much for rule of law, ethics and a man of god. Or I guess his god likes liars and cheaters. |
k So much for the party of law and order. |
There really could be no better outcome than the Rs voting en masse to protect this obvious criminal. No one can doubt who they are. |
+1 While at the same time Republican Senators will need to go out of their way to protect Leonard Leo and Harland Crow from the subpoenas they just got. In an election year. <rubs hands together> |
311-114.
Buh bye. |
He is out!!! |
105 GOP votes to expel. |
Yup, the majority of House republicans voted to keep Santos in office. |
If we had an independent media rather than a pro GOP one, this would probably be covered. He’s out but a majority of his party voted to keep him. |
McCarthy knew that Santos had lied about his qualifications and Santos should never have been allowed to be sworn in. |
+1 and predicting that the two Ds who voted no will be subjected to much more media questioning and attention than the 100+ Rs including leadership who voted no. |
