How do you abbreviate 'Wednesday' - Wed or Weds?

Anonymous
For example: "Let's aim for a 2pm meeting next Wed/Weds."

Do you tend to use only one? Both as interchangeable? What is the correct version?

Never seen "Weds". Why would it be any different than the other days of the week?

Yes, like on my to do lists. Maybe not on a memo.

I had many teachers who did this and that's how or high school printed out schedules, so it's normal to me.
