I've been told on more than one occasion that I look like Melania Trump (trying to take that as a compliment lol), and we are about the same age. I was thinking of bringing some pics to my next hair appointment to get a similar color and highlight. Any opinions on her color? What adjectives would I use to describe the brown? Is this like an ashy brown?
Some pics for reference: |
I like the color in the first pic. How it is mostly her natural light brown color with some lighter pieces around her face to brighten it up. |
She is beautiful and well-kept even if she is a devil. Seriously though, if I were your hairdresser and you brought me a copy of this I might wonder about you, esp. if you already look like her.
Do you WANT to look like her? |
Her natural color is dark brown |
both are wigs with the front pulled out. |
For the love, can we just get past the hate? OP is asking about the color. Be it a wig or real, it doesn’t make any difference for the question. |
Her hair color is phenomenal. It’s her best feature. I have discussed this with my colorist. Just bring a picture so your colorist can see it. I think it is a medium brown with ashy highlights. Once or twice she has gone more blonde and it looks bad. |
I’d call it caramel highlights |
If you already look like her, why are you trying more to look like her? |
I love her highlighted hair.
It is so signature. I would say she is naturally a brunette w/sun-kissed blond highlights. Especially around the crown & on the ends. |
The second color is very similar to typical JLo and Jen Aniston colors. Medium brown with caramel/honey bayalage highlights. Just enter bayalage brunette on Pinterest and you’ll get a lot of results.

This is the correct answer. These are balayage highlights, so if you want a similar look, go to someone who is good at balayage. I get something similar...I'm a medium brown naturally, but much more fair skinned, so I go with a more ashy colored highlight. I believe they are calling it "mushroom" these days. My hair tends to fade brassy regardless of what gets put in it though, so it ultimately ends up looking just about like this. Just take the photo in. That is the easiest way to get what you want, but be open to slight adjustments if you skin tone isn't exactly the same olive that Melania is. |
It's called Brownshirt Brown |
You all know what she looked lie prior to the Trump fund? Busted face, hair, that god awful nose. Money did wonders for her. |
