APS MS hybrid return?

SO where are we now? What is the new projected date of APS middle school returning to hybrid?

There's always so much nonsense and senseless wordy communication and countless emails without spelling out a date.

Board meeting tonight. No board docs released yet. Wait & see...

They sure are holding that update close to the chest for this meeting. Usually it's posted by now.

Does that mean they haven't decided yet? Or had decided but bumped back because of Ffx?

Only dates are for the teachers to return (without the students). I honestly don't see how the teachers can say with a straight face that Duran is putting them in harms way asking them to teach in an empty classroom

It means that they’ve decided but they haven’t seen fit to tell anyone yet. The slides say they will start communication transportation details next week. Sounds to me like they’ve got start dates but they just aren’t saying.

Do we know how many picked hybrid? We changed from hybrid to full time DL after watching the rates and looking at how they were going to laughably “protect” the people in the building. You can’t have people marching on straight lines between classes indoors and mixing up groups and not talking to each other and eating together. It’s just dumb.

I don't have the link on hand but it varies. Upper NW schools like Jamestown and Discovery the hybrid selection was something like 80%. Low income schools like Carlin Springs something like 70% chose virtual.

Did the middle and high school DL vs. hybrid numbers ever come out? I remember seeing the elementary school results but not middle and high school numbers.

Would love to see them. Pretty fair to infer that the hybrid numbers are highest in the north and go down as you move south to communities who have most direct experience with the virus.

The email on Monday from the principal at Swanson said 2/3rds chose hybrid.

Williamsburg was 60 to 70% hybrid. Don’t remember the exact number they said at the PTA meeting.

I went back and reviewed. Williamsburg Middle is 70% hybrid 30% virtual.

Does anyone know the hybrid/DL split at TJMS?
