What age do your daughters get to go on a date at their friends homes (boy, but not boyfriend) as a "friend" Valentines?
Don;t ask, you probably already know the story. We have not had to have this chat before but now we do.

earth to OP = there is a PANDEMIC
no one is going on dates |
Shut up stay in your hole. |
This has been happening for us since 8th but parents must be home. |
Just bc no one wants to take you on a date, don't ruin it for others. |
| When she is 18 and out of the house. Whichever comes first... |
| DD is 12 and keeps asking to do something with her crush outside of school, like roller rink. Thankfully I have the convenient excuse of the pandemic to put this off. The boy is nice and a good kid but I don’t want to go there just yet. |
She's already there. |
Serious question, how do you know he is nice and a good kid? Do you attend classes with him? See how he is around his friends on a daily basis? How is without his parents around? |
| It happened at 15 in my house. I had no objection at that point. |
Let's say the pandemic lasts just 1 year, since we are almost there. Imagine if no one went on a date, met a new love interest, got engaged, got married etc for one whole year. But maybe it will be 2 years. |
| Yeah, that’s my concern during a pandemic. |

Whenever you're comfortable putting her on birth control.
