I make about $1000/month testing virtual puzzle games (crossword puzzles, sudoku)

Does anyone else do something similar ?

This is very interesting. I don't have a side hustle but I need one. Who is your employer?

Is this legit?

As an avid (addicted?) consumer of both crosswords and sudoku, I thank you for your work!

Rover.com, I dog sit in my home. I made about $500-$700/month pre-Covid. I'm selective about the dogs I take, have a good set of regular clients, and only have one at a time. It's easy money and I get to cuddle dogs.

Portrait photography on the weekends (photo editing on weeknights). Depending on the job, I get $300-700 per session. Busiest during the fall season and pretty quiet from Jan-Apr.

I only do outdoor shoots until the pandemic is over, but I've rarely had to leave my front yard or adjacent public park.

This is going to be my retirement gig, definitely. (I’ll never tell the owners that I’d practically pay them to “borrow” their dogs! )

Yep, also used to do Rover and made a good amount monthly with it (1-2k). But now I have two young kids and don't feel comfortable or have the time so I stopped. I also used to do Amazon deliveries and Amazon restaurants back when that was a thing. Now I just pickup extra shifts at work (I'm a nurse) because I make way more than I did when I did a lot of the gig jobs and wasn't working in healthcare.

Please tell us more about this! How do you get started?

I only make about $20/month but I get a meal a month out of surveys. In the before days, I did mystery shopping, mostly at restaurants and probably had a free meal a week.

$500-750 a month doing focus groups. Each pays about $250 for an hour and a half of time. It’s actually a lot of fun and the other people you do it with are neat too.

Yes, I'd love more info about focus groups or testing puzzles! I did a focus group once and made $300 but I was selected because I was a client of the business running the study. I'd love to sign up for additional studies.
