Looking for a remote tutor

Anonymous
Our 5.5 year old loves to learn and has successfully started to read with the help of a once a week tutor. Unfortunately our tutor doesn't have space to take on more work, but we'd love to give our little dude more support to complement the at home learning we're doing this year.

We'd like to work with someone who can continue to help our guy with reading/phonics and math 1-2 hours/day 3-5 days/week. Our ideal candidate is warm and friendly, will care about his longterm development and willing to work with us long after covid blows over to help him advance in school (and life). Bonus points if you're creative, able to design interactive learning experiences and communicate well with parents so that we can ensure a streamlined learning experience.

In your response, please include:
- a little more about you
- what ages you're currently tutoring for
- your tutoring philosophy
- your availability (M-F, time of day, 3 days/week or 5 days/week)
- your rate

We do tutoring through Outschool, and it’s great. Try various tutors until you find a good fit.

+1 for outschool tutors, moreso now that most tutors are online without a clue while outschool tutors have been doing this for a while.
