Quick: where can I donate 2 tubs of baby/toddler/preschool books today in DC or lower MoCo?

I'd love a quick recommendation of a proven, "for sure" place that would take them, vs. a I think so-and-so takes baby clothes, why don't call the ...

These are high quality with all the pages accounted for, no scribbles or apple juice stains.

Donate them to Friends of Wheaton Library, downstairs at Wheaton Library. They sell them and it profits the library system. We buy books there all the time. You can get a recepit for your taxes. I'm talking about books, not clothes, they take books, CD, Videos.

Or Friends of the Mont Co. Library, off of Rockville Pike on Boiling Brook Parkway

We do a lot of donating to places like Purple Heart and the other ones that just send us a bag and give us a pick up date. I know that's not what you asked, but it is easy. You just put the bag outside your home on the pick-up date. Make sure you itemize everything and keep your records for tax purposes.

I've also donated to the Salvation Army. There should be a location near you. Good luck.
