Do you love your Peleton Treadmill?

I’m looking into replacing my 11-year-old treadmill with the Tread+. Is it worth it? Stable and smooth and reliable? I run 35-50 miles a week, mostly outdoors, but want a treadmill for bad weather and occasional speed work. Looking for something that is sturdy, changes speed and incline quickly, and looks nice. I am a big fan of the Peleton app already.

I don't have one but I know four people who have it and love it. I am saving up to get one but that will be a full purchase and not financed.

Yes. Just got it this fall and LOVE it. It is large and heavy, though, so think through where you'll be putting it bc you're not going to want to move it around later.

With zero percent financing it’s silly not to finance.

NP. I personally would never finance something like a treadmill. For me, loans are for houses, schooling and cars. (Although currently saving so that my next auto purchase will be outright). It’s just my own comfort level with debt.

My sister has the Pelaton treadmill and LOVES it. She loves using the journey feature and going for walks in beciatiful places

Can you stream TV on to the peloton tread? I’d love to get it but sometimes I just want to watch Netflix while I jog. The bike I know you can’t put anything else on it

Unfortunately not. That’s one knock against it.

Got ours in October (have had bike for a while) and love it. I’m an outdoor runner, but having the bootcamps and the ability to walk or run no matter time or weather is great. The treadmill itself is better than any treadmill I’ve ever been on.

We financed the bike because it was less expensive then our family gym membership, which we cancelled. The tread would be an extra that is nice but not a must have. For that reason, we are not financing it. I use the bike a ton so I am not worried about my exercise, the tread would be an awesome but not mandatory addition.

We have a TV in the room with our bike and watch that. Turn down the volume and use closed captioning for the bike. Same for the tread if we had one

So I don’t watch TV while I ride the peloton, I need the class structure. But with a tread sometimes I like to mindlessly jog. It also has a mammoth screen. What’s the point of having a treadmill with a massive screen if you Never use the screen? Also the screen is in front of your face, jogging while looking sideways is not feasible for me

I wish peloton would let you stream Netflix or something else. I haven’t found another treadmill with slats that doesn’t cost like $10,000. I guess I could hang an iPad over the screen. I do that with my current treadmill sometimes, but mostly I do the Peloton classes.

I bought a Soulcycle studio bike for this exact reason. I spend 7 days a week with it parked in front of my 55-inch TV watching Netflix, D+ and HBOMax. Its great - plus none of the Peloton monthly fees for a service I don't use.

I'm waiting for the Peloton tread to have a software upgrade that allows for TV/Movies streaming before I buy it. I really want a Tread though - but can't justify it since I'm not a class person.

Did you hear that Peloton is getting a software upgrade to allow other media? That would be a game changer. I ran on one at their store and it’s really nice and looks so good. I hesitate because the screen is so huge but only plays their stuff.
