Do you think kids who grew up in the tristate are wiser? |
Why would we be? |
What an absurdly ambiguous question. Wise in what way? Upper Manhattan wise, Long Island wise, or OG Bushwick wise? |
No, the area is too large and too diverse to make any comclusions. |
Not necessarily wiser but perhaps more sophisticated and world-wise. I’m a NYC kid and that’s what people say of me. |
Not the kids from the suburbs. They are the worst kind of unwise, thinking that they have seen it all, when in fact their lives are hilariously sheltered. |
This. I've known very street smart kids from Flushing and the city and very coddled and sheltered kids from Great Neck or Scarsdale. There are kids in Jersey and LI who grow up 20 miles outside of the city and never go there. |
No absolutely not. |
+1 |
Definitely not. But I think there are a lot of parents out there who believe they are! |

You obviously weren't raised in NYC and can't see the difference. |
Wiser than what? |
In a Socratic way, as in they know that they don't know anything? |
