Has anyone had experience with Kayes Kare in Falls church? It is was one of the few part time Daycare’s in nova. Hoping to get some feedback good or bad. Thanks

Don't trust any company that spells Care as Kare because they think it's cute or funny. Like KidzDoc in Alexandria. |
This is how bored I am this afternoon- I looked up this place. It’s Kaye Kare. Few reviews, so I’m not surprised you’re here asking about it.
I did find that 5 people posted about the preschool on Nextdoor. Look that up and private message the posters. Beyond that, I think you’ll have to trust your gut. Any other options? I agree with the PP. Kaye Care would have been a better choice when naming the place. |
A few families from our in-home daycare in Dominion Hills sent their children here and were very happy with the care their children received. From what I remember, it's a small daycare in a church basement and the turnover is minimal. They get families mostly through in-home daycare word of mouth... |
Again the negative and unnecessary commentary from the nasty troll. Can you find something better to do with your time? |
I don’t think that’s a troll, PP. I think that statement is exactly how the poster feels about misspelled business names (especially a school). He/she thinks that’s not a good sign of quality. You may not agree but that doesn’t qualify it as a “nasty troll” comment. |
We will be sending our son there starting in January. I’ve been very impressed so far with the office staff’s responsiveness and other families say great things. It has an accessible location, fun outdoor space and located right next to a larger park where the older kids can go... we are optimistic and looking forward to having him start! |
We were impressed by the variety of the food at our Kindercare location in Arlington that just closed (lost their lease), so we called the catering company to find out which other centers used them in the area, and this one was one of them. |
My son was going to go there this year but our plans changed with Covid. I talked to several people whose kids are there and they are all happy with it. Competently, caring staff and management. No known negatives. |
I knew two people who sent their kids there from my 22207 neighborhood. They were both very young parents. Take what you will from that. |
I take nothing from that, PP. What does the age of the parents have to do with anything? What a very odd comment. All this statement does is make you sound like an old jealous hag. |
Also very young parents who can afford to live in 22207 must be doing something right, so it sounds like you think they made a good choice. |
@9:15 - any update on your experiences since starting there in January? |

Hi - yes, my son started in January and he’s doing great! We are very pleased. He’s learned a lot, and the school has caring teachers and responsive staff. They really do cute touches like decorations across the school for holidays and “class parties” for Valentines Day, etc. There’s lots of mask wearing with the older kids but it’s a bit hit or miss in the 2 year old and 2.5 year old class - I know the teachers are trying and I completely understand that it’s tough to force kids that age to consistently wear their mask. I also like the diversity of families. Overall, we couldn’t ask for more from his first few months and I would highly recommend it. |
