| Is there a breakout of how counties in Maryland voted by zip that is more detailed than this? https://www.wbaltv.com/article/maryland-election-results-2020-county-map/34929657 |
Election results are reported by precinct, not zip code. |
|
This is by state senate district, so more detailed than just by county.
|
|
Montgomery County by councilmanic district

NYT has a 2016 precinct map.
Hopefully they publish the 2020 one soon. |

Oh thanks, I was on the edge of my seat. I thought nah e MoCo might have gone for Trump.

It’s out: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/upshot/2020-election-map.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage |
| The NYT map has VA as entirely blank - not done? |
| The NYT one also shows you the difference in the red/blue vote since 2016. It’s amazing to see how the white affluent areas got bluer and the majority minority areas went redder, not by a ton but I don’t get what Blacks and Latinos see in Trump. |
Yeah not done. New Jersey also. |
It’s not what they see in Trump, it’s what they see in Dem’s policies that scares them. If you’re an independent, small business owner Dem policies are a death blow. High minimum wages. Poor tax structures for business. Overly burdensome, yet poorly enforced regulations. Apathy or at worst support for property stealing/damaging criminals / rioters and perception of anti-law enforcement bent. Resentment from potential white customers and investors due to government race mandates. They held their nose and voted for Trump despite his foul stench. |
