NWLL baseball scandal

This should probably be the last place I go to look for real information, but, I am curious about NWLL. My son was at the tryouts today and there were definitely fewer kids than last year. There is some communication from the league but not as much as last year. Not talking about the drama emails, just the baseball emails. Anyone know more than me?

The only thing I heard is that they don’t have commissioners yet and that the folks that started the lawsuit are demanding that they be appointed so that’s holding things up because obviously not everyone agrees about that. Damn people. This is 3rd grade baseball.

How does them being commissioner relate to complaint about access to financials? Guess real motives coming out. Would be bad look for new board imo. Not fresh.

Someone told my neighbor that he was promised the grounds maintenance contract from Klisch. If that’s true it’s insane.

They have an entirely new board. And this insanity is still happening? What in the world do they want? I’m so glad my kid aged out.

Why are two parents allowed to create havoc in an entire league? We were hoping that our kid would be coached by Ricky now that he is in the majors. Is it true that he is not allowed to coach anymore?
Anonymous
Wait. What? My nephew was on his team and my son was also hoping to play for him when he was older. He’s not coaching anymore?

word on street is that the Sweeney/Klisch lawsuit is saving league $60+ a year by shutting down Rossi from giving away $25K to Robinson, $10K to Davenport and $30K to Walsh Works in bogus payments.

Nice. That’s clearly a Mike move so he can be the summer coach with no competition. Insane how the new board is letting this happen. Where is the Washington Post reporter when you need him? Oh wait, those were friends of Mike reporters.

The President of the league sent out an email without consulting (or having a vote of) the full board telling non-parents that they were not allowed to coach in the Majors division.

The Sweeny/Klisch lawsuit is costing the league in so many ways, including parents leaving the league because of Sweeny/Klisch chaos. And instead, Klisch is diverting funds to his friends/cronies.

I heard from Cap Hill there is a February 2022 email from LLI to Davenport saying he needed a charter committee waiver for player 3 but that he snuck player 3 into NWLL (and on their summer team) with a BS 2D waiver.
NWLL hid this from everyone for 2 years.
Can someone say "intentional" please?

How does that happen? Or is he an appointee of the klisch/sweeney side?

Hey Mike. Your money trail is common knowledge as is you lying about one of your boy’s ages on a travel team.
Those are ridiculous bogus numbers to Davenport and Robinson. And if Robinson is so bad, why does Sweeney keep signing her son up to play with him?

Has Cap Hill addressed the racism in their league that made the family want to leave in the first place?
