Aps - Lexia Core5

We have been trying to download the app since Friday afternoon, and it is still not done. Is anyone else having the same issue? I know they said it would take a while to load but didn’t think we’d be waiting 3.5++ days!

Oh man! That sucks. Ours was pre downloaded on our Ipad, but it took a while to open I we went through My access APS. Instead we clicked directly on the lexia app and clicked "log in through clever" and it opened right away.

You can access lexia in a browser. Login in via My Access APS

https://myaccess.apsva.us/idp/AuthnEngine#/authn

(if that link doesn't work, just google MyAccess APS)

Once you get logged in you can click "launch clever" and then you can access the lexia browser version.

Are you installing from the APS app catalog? Have you restarted the iPad?

We had to restart our iPad to get it to load.

We were having this issue with several apps on my daughter's iPad. We ended up needing to take it into our elementary school ITC to update some settings that only she could control. Turns out some update didn't push out to the iPad and that was stopping the other apps from downloading.

Do any other kids hate Lexia? Mine are not fans.

Mine like and have used a few other phonics apps. IMO, it's the best. Now, a teacher is better, of course but they can't all be in our living rooms.

My 2nd grader likes it, though she finds the sight word section to be a bit repetitive and challenging. I'm not sure what she'll do when that's the only section left.

Do all elementary grades have access to Lexia? We had it in Fairfax last year, but now have Imagine Literacy in its place. My child much preferred Lexia.

My first grader hates it.

My kindergarten kid is obsessed with leveling up and wants to spend all of his spare time on Lexia. It seems boring and repetitive to me, but he really likes it.

My kid likes it. Easiest part of the day.

Please do not let him do that. The longer he can use the same tasks over and over again, the faultier the data given to the program is.

APS parents: the district has discovered that having too many Safari tabs open is leading to trouble with Lexia and the other apps. Force close Safari. Then restart and try Lexia again.

Interesting.

Then please note that "Clever" opens a new tap every time it's opened and everything anything is clicked in Clever.

How do I close 24 tabs at once?
