Are people doing indoor playdates?

Curious what everyone’s stance on indoor playdates is right now. A couple friends from my DD’s school keep inviting her over to play but I am still hesitant. They aren’t doing indoor play dates with many others but I don’t think either family is fully isolating anymore.

If they are dumb enough to do indoor play dates they are doing other dumb stuff too

They probably go to the gym and eat out too

Only with a couple of kids but we need their help with childcare so I have to be ok with it.

We are not. No clue what others are doing. No one has told me they are.

I just started outdoor play dates. No way with indoor

We are not. Outdoor only, with a select few families where everyone is distanced and wears masks.

we are not, the weather is nice so the kids play outside. we have been doing outdoor playdates since march though with no incidents.

We are definitely not doing any indoor playdates but know of many families who are and I just don’t understand it. It’s both keeping this virus going and making my child sad that they’re following the rules and others aren’t. I also know that nobody in this group will probably get Covid which is good but that makes me sad that they will think they were okay in doing it and we’re being “over-cautious”.

We’re in a bubble with three other families who do indoor play dates with each other. None of us are traveling, doing indoor dining, or using public transportation. Everyone else I’m seeing on the playground or for a socially distanced picnic.

We have one friend who plays inside and outside with DS. Both families inform the other if they go to work in the office. Neither family is going to restaurants or out doing much. The boys play baseball together. They are outside most of the time but like to play video games together.
