Withdrawing from FCPS to homeschool - where to send NOI

| We plan to withdraw from FCPS to homeschool. Is sending a NOI really as simple as sending a registered letter to Superintendent Brabrand at the Gatehouse address? It’s the first time we have had to do this, never in my life had I imagined I would homeschool, but it is becoming obvious that is a necessity this year. |

The instructions for submitting the form is stated on the top of the form. https://www.fcps.edu/sites/default/files/media/forms/se270.pdf
You can mail or email the form. We did this a month ago and got a confirmation within a week. You should also reach out to the registrar of your school to withdraw your child. |
