| If you are a divorced man over 50 and dated women over 50, how did things work out? Are women that age still sexual? Did you decide to look for younger women? |
| My divorced father in law dated and got remarried in his mid-late 50s and seems happy. His wife is close to his age, slightly younger but max by 5 years. I don’t know about their sex life though. |
| I was 55 and I started out looking for younger women but found they were either single and interested in having children or divorced with young children at home. Physically, they were very appealing but the young children phase of my life was over. Are women over 50 sexual? Most are but some aren’t and you find that out very quickly. In terms of the ones who are, if they are empty nesters there are many opportunities for sex and they can be very enthusiastic. A 50+ woman who has stayed pretty fit and has a strong libido is a lot of fun. |

My divorce was final when I was 53.
I am in a LTR now; however, I dated for about 1.5 years before getting into my LTR. All most all of the women I dated were over 50 (except for an FWB who was in her mid-40s). It was wonderful. Much, much better than dating in my late teens/early 20s. The women were very sexual focused and excellent lovers. Most did not want a traditional "boyfriend/girlfriend" thing as they had limited time (all of the women I dated were single parents with kids in their mid to late teens), their own resources, and did not see marriage as benefiting them. Having a man for sex and social fun (dates, trips, etc.) was what they wanted and what you could easily find. My favorite part was how open they were to trying something (e.g., I enjoy having sex outside and most women were more than up for it if was even moderately safe.) Have at it, my brother. |
Woman here - most of us coming out of divorces had either no sex life or a very repressed one. Once I started dating 2 years after my divorce I was very open minded about sex including sex in the back of a car, out hiking and a few other fun places. If we had done that while married we might not have drifted apart. |
| 56 yo woman here having trouble finding a man who can keep up! |
| OP, all vaginas turn to dust starting at 50, and by 60 the body just consumes and repurposes it, leaving no genitalia. |
Oh, same with happens with any penis over 50. |
LOL! I dated a 49yo. She was in the mood all the time but after awhile she just wasn’t appealing physically. Mood swings all over the place. |
Not true! We are in our 60's and a little while ago my husband asked if I'd like to take a nap with him this afternoon since it's raining where we are and there is nothing else to do. It's been a long time since we had "afternoon delight" so I'm looking forward to it. |
PP here. I was being sarcastic.

| Over 60 here and would only date amy age down to mid 50s. I'm really big on sharing life experiences and somebody younger is going to be in a different orbit. |
| Get a sports car for the weekends and a trusty sedan for the daily driver. |
| I just turned 50 and always liked women my age or older. In my twenties, always dated women a good 5-10 years older. I’ll take them all day long. They know exactly what they want in bed and are good at it! |
I am 46 yo women with two young kids - recently divorced and this describes my goal for post-COVID dating and relationships! I don't want marriage, monogamy, another father for my kids, or to share a house. |
