High back booster carseat /leather seats

I need a relatively inexpensive high back booster to go in a car with leather seats (grandparents). For some reason our Cosco Finale 2 in 1 won’t get secure on the leather seats!! Any suggestions for an alternative?

We have three nice Chico car seats that fit fantastically in our fabric interior car. When we put them in my parents leather interior vehicles, they are never as tightly secure. They wobble horribly and it does not feel as safe. I think it just may be the nature of the leather seats being softer. I’m wondering if anything can recommend not a car seat, but a way to better secure the car seats on leather?

we have leather seats and the cheap evenflo high back boosters. haven't noticed any problems.

Car seat tech here. Leather seats are much harder to get a tight install. We use the rubber kitchen liner a lot with installs to get a good grip. Having said that, are you trying to have the booster be installed with a latch? Because a high back booster uses the belt in front of the child to keep the seat and child in place. You don’t need a good fit per se.
