3-bike rack for sedan--any options?

| We're a family of three with a Honda Civic sedan looking to transport our bikes around the area for rides. Has anyone had any success with a bike rack or other bike-toting method with a sedan? |

We have a very simple one like this:
https://www.amazon.com/SportRack-Pursuit-3-Bike-Anti-Sway-Trunk/dp/B009ZN1XM2 It looks like Amazon will even let you put in your car model and tell you whether a bike rack will fit your car. At first I was kind of afraid that a bike would go flying off, but if you make sure everything is done correctly it's surprisingly sturdy. I have driven on the highway, etc. |

| You could get a roof rack in addition to the rear rack. |

| we have an adjustable thule that holds 3 bikes and fits on most cars. check them out on REI’s website. |
