Covid-friendly places to kill time in Ellicott City/Columbia?

Anonymous
DC has a sports tournament this weekend near Ellicott City. We have about two hours in between games on Saturday (and no telling for Sunday) and would love to find a place to eat and get out of the sun for a bit. Normally, we’d make a reservation for the whole team at a restaurant, but...

If you know of a specific park, picnic shelter, takeout restaurant, etc. that might help us with our planning, I’d really appreciate it!

Who wants to hike in between games of a sports tournament??

It's really shady in that part of Patapsco State Park, thus cooler. Farmhouse Greens in Catonsville on Fredrick Road isn't too far from there. I like their food a lot.

Scoop and Paddle in Clarksville - amazing ice cream in a cool little shopping area with stuff to do outside and eclectic food stalls nearby.
