+1 This is in the weeds a bit but the writing was on the wall when SCOTUS in its current incarnation said it would rule on the Mississippi ban after striking down a virtually identical law in Louisiana only a few years ago. People who have been paying attention knew this.

Republicans have said it, yes. But the SCOTUS judges all said Roe was settled and established to Congress during confirmation. It seems to me then that they lied and they’re all political first, law second.

The Texas law is a mistake. It doesn't have anything to do with Roe, it's just a mistake.
