The only useful conclusion to this thread. I would add that it's also all white supremacy, because the standard by which all women are judged is their attractiveness to white men. That's the unspoken assumption -- what do rich white men prefer? It's all gross. |
confidence?? That's not how that comes across, sock puppet |
Interesting! I would say people in the US think red hair hair charming and pretty. For women. But again, it depends on the face that belongs to the red hair! |
You are “on trend” now, I believe. Asians are considered widely attractive and my daughters wish they had the same hair as their Asian friends. |
I know, but it was seriously funny. Narcissists do live in a alternate reality though. I've never seen such a beauty on the streets that everyone turned their heads, oh...maybe in the movies. |
Yep. Time for some inward therapy. |
I was a natural blonde and many people assumed I was stupid (I got into Harvard and Yale, no exaggeration).
That was annoying. For what it is worth, I always found dark beauty (in men and women) to be much sexier and more attractive. |
The hair..but not the eye shape/size . That is why eye surgery is so common in Asia. It is sad |

You didn't know me when I was young ...sigh this is no longer the case. I have long, thick auburn hair, long legs and had perky boobs. |
The Asian women i know are okay with their eye shape and size but my gawd are they strict on their diets. That is why they're so thin. |
Especially among military men stationed in Asian countries |
I'm 54 and truly blond and blue eyed. I don't color my hair, despite the white that's coming in....
I now have red mottled skin from sun damage on my neck and chest, just like my mother did, despite sunscreen. I don't and never have thought blond women were the epitome of beauty. I think Selena Gomez is more attractive than Taylor Swift, for example. |
I am a natural blonde and I don’t much like it. It seems boring to me. I love to play with hair color. Have been auburn, copper red, various shades of brown and sometimes blonde. I got the most aggressive attention as a redhead. Some men (not all) have a serious fetish about it. It got to the point I just was dying to get rid of it from all the attention.
I agree with poster saying it’s all based on the opinion of what white men find attractive. When I am blonde, I got much more male attention than as a brunette. No matter though. I like myself best as a brunette. I’m a fake brunette but the combo of darker hair and blue eyes has always been my favorite look. |
I think the only reason blonde hair and blue eyes was ever considered the "ideal" is because advertising execs (think Mad Men) made it so. The reality is that this coloring is pretty much the worst to have in real life. It's so easy to look washed out, and fair skin ages faster. I think people increasingly care more about having youthful features of any color (see the thousands of aging threads right here on DCUM) than blondness, which has become almost synonymous with bleach bottles and fakeness. |
