Really? The best book?

Station 11 is also my best book of the last 10 years, although it’s taken on new meaning now that we’re living through a pandemic. I read it quite a few years ago but it has stayed with me. Amazing how she made a story about a pandemic so beautiful and touching. And the prose is simply the best. I’ve since read all of her other books and they’re sadly not even in my top 50 list - forgettable and unimportant.

I agree.

It was an online blog that a guy (Drew Hayes) was writing on Tuesday and Thursdays caked Super Powereds. I read the original on Audible and it was so good that I did a Google search for opinions on it, found his site and was reading it every update.

It's an adult fantasy book about (you guessed it) people with super powers, but his construction of this world is so nice and his development of characters was impressive.

It also introduced me to the world of webfiction. I had heard of fanfiction which can be hit or miss. Webfiction can too, but it's not as dependent on canon or knowing a series or a characters backstory.
