Isn't that actually more reason to bitch? |
How about proportional bitching? Now we are done bitching about the unfairness of the individual stimulus checks and now have to complain about the corporate aspects for 2 million years? |
Awesone!! |
I wasn’t bitching about not getting the payment. I was saying I shouldn’t get any of it, because it sounded like some people around my income were getting checks mostly because they qualified for the money for dependents. Glad that isn’t true. |
On the other thread about this, people with incomes of $150K+ are getting checks. |
Gosh, there's 68 million Americans without bank accounts. . . people on Social Security with no bank accounts have debit cards, and people receiving cash assisance get cards (not many of those anymore), but seems like there's probably a lot of paper checks to be mailed out. Just half a million at that rate would take 2 years. I have a joint account with my DS for some practical reasons. There's a $1200 pending transaction in there, not sure whose it is--we both get federal CRP (agricultural) deposits to that account so based on that it could be either of us, I don't use that account when I submit payment with income tax filing and I don't think DS has used it--but why just one of us? |
| I got $100 so now I can't gripe about the whole stimulus and can claim I'm not rich. |

If you generally owe taxes and pay electronically, can the IRS process us in the electronic transfer group? Or are we not in the "direct deposit on file with the IRS group"?
Does anyone happen to know? |
| We had a combined HH income of something like $210k and have two kids, married filing jointly. I have to double check my income as I was on FMLA for like two months. But there is a deposit for $2500 into our account. I am afraid to use it, this must be a mistake? |
PP above already corrected this to 5 million a week. |
| Does anyone know if SS recipients have begun getting deposits? |
This is what happened to us I expect. Not certain yet, as payments continue today. |
| 192 dollars! I guess our retirement contributions got us right under. |
We’re very similar—we’d already filed for last year and made around $190k, have two kids, and got a $2700 deposit. I didn’t check our tax return to see what they counted as our income for the year but I’m guessing retirement contributions and maybe student loan payments got us under the threshold. |
| Everything I read said the extra $500 for dependents was for kids until 17. Mine is almost 18, but I got the extra dependent money. |
