TROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've waited years for a troll OP to admit to a lie. Finally! OP admits to the lie of saying DC is in a Big Three, but is in fact in a "top private." I'm sure that's a lie too. Is there a top private in the DMV that provides Naviance to the parents? Not sure what this troll is up to, but good to get at least a tiny bit of honesty. |
OP - you are incorrect. |
NP here. Is it so hard to imagine a kid logging into Naviance and letting the parents look at it? Or giving the parents their login info? |
OP admitted their lie. They said "fake or not, really at a top private." Liar. Liar. |

Im the OP - many of you have just been through this so I was asking an honest question. Someone out there must have a DC at a BIG 3 - not top private - but BIG 3 with near perfect SAT and an A- average. What happened this year? And the last several years?
It is difficult to make a list with the combination. To those who continue to answer honestly - thank you. For those who are trying to be Sherlock Holmes - take a Xanax and chill. |
Didn't you just say your kid is NOT at a Big 3? And why not answer the question of which colleges did your school's counselor give to you? And what are you seeing on the Naviance that apparently only you are able to see? |
Do top privates not give access to Naviance? Why not?? Why do publics give this access but not privates? |
Because Id like to protect the privacy of my DC and private conversations that have taken place. I asked a question. If you dont want to answer..then dont. No poor motives, no lies, no gotchas. The person that posted "top private" wasnt me. Ill say for a fourth time...many of of you may have just been through the process. Can you assist with a Big 3 child with Top SAT but only great grades? If you cant help me with the list...why comment? |
OP's very first words in the first post were: "DC attends a Big 3." Starts with a lie, and now asks people to answer "honestly." Hilarious. |
We can keep doing this as long as youd like. Im the OP. My DC attends a Big 3. This is a an anonymous chat board -- I did not post anything about "top private" You sound quite jealous. |
Depends if it's a girl or boy OP and I can't find where you state the sex. A boy has a better chance of getting in somewhere decent with those stats than a girl. ECs are not great...so Ivies and Stanford/MIT are out totally. You may get Georgetown or Duke if you are lucky. |
Which Big 3 gives students or parents access to Naviance? |
Just Wow. How do we get this into a thread a nobody asks what drives your student. What do they want to do for a living? You don't pick a college based on grades, you match the college to where you can best pursue your passion. At some point all these stats look alike, including the clubs and extras. When that happens colleges look at the bottom of the resume -- what does this person love and how have they spent their time loving it. This is what distinguishes a student, not an SAT. I have routinely turned down intern apps from unfocused Ivy students in favor of state school students who hustle and love something.
