I do! I am having a huge problem with WF right now--as it has seriously gone downhill since Amazon took over. The employees look absolutely miserable ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Except that they are freeloading on taxpayers. Can you imagine if federal workers decided to live in their offices to be budget conscious? |
+1 She has enormous potential- will be interesting to watch how she grows. |
You mean watching her ego grow? |
She didn't run them out, she called out the give-aways and they made the corporate decision to pull out. Sounds like they had a temper tantrum over not getting all the spoils. Amazon alone is responsible for their decision not to proceed because they didn't like hearing people complain about corporate welfare. |
LOL -- it may go in that direction. Look, she's a huge outlier. She could totally flame out. To not flame out, she'll need to mature, a lot. For me, jury's out. |
Sounds like a good rallying cry for UNIONS! Yeah! |
They are both awful, full of themselves and neither of them should be in politics. Different sides of the same coin. |
Post of the day! And Navy Yard is hardly the most "posh" of locations she could have chosen. |
AOC stood up to Jeff Bezos in NYC, but is his consumer in DC and gives him her (our) money for his goods. Oh the irony. |

iPhone and Starbucks. She's not a socialist. She's not even a social justice warrior. My SJW colleagues don't own iPhones and don't drink Starbucks. It's all Androids and locally owned coffee shops with ethically grown beans. |
What did you expect her to do? Take a sweetheart deal for a luxury condo for 50$ a night offered by a lobbyist? Oh wait, that's what Republican Scott Pruitt did. (And the landlord eventually kicked him out because he didn't even pay the 50$/night.)

I have no idea which WF you are talking about. I have been going for years (both before and after Bezos). I actually see it getting better. My WF is more and more packed with customers to the point that it needs to expand. The prices are better and the employees look fine to me. Yes, there were shorter lines, but that's because the business was not booming like it is now! In the case of my store, they just plain don't have enough check outs now. The store needs to look for a bigger space, but that's going to be tough in our area. The aisles are crowded because they are constantly restocking. The meats, fish, produce, and bakery are excellent. No changes to the food quality at all. Where is your WF?? |
Yeah, and she’s already planning a vacation with Ivanka! Unbelievable!!! |
^ I wonder why the conservative guy from Texas sold it to Bezos??? |
