Np, but I read it that more people voted for the lady, but because of our ridiculous slavery-era electoral college bullshit, the people were overridden because a handful of states are undereducated.

Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin have some of the top public and private universities in the country and educate many of its residents. Among other things, these schools teach that the electoral college is used to elect US presidents and not the popular vote. Might be difficult for one who has no knowledge of how a US president is elected, but it is a very simple concept that even the less educated can grasp.

The popular vote is no longer the issue. It becomes more and more obvious that Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression are the problem. As an example, in places like Texas gerrymandering around Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio has resulted in the GOP holding 10 more House seats than they should.

everyone knows that the electoral college winner is legally entitled to become president, and no one I know has said otherwise. The popular vote is mentioned when people suggest that the country wanted DJT, or did not want HRC, or that disliking DJT (and engaging in lawful resistance) is somehow defying the will of the people. Then the popular vote is quite relevant.
