I'm obsessed with this product. THANK YOU OP (I too am a real person, with hair like what you describe above - wavy but not curly, curl/kinks on the shorter hairs in front, heavy but not super thick. It takes me about 12-15 mins to dry my hair completely with this brush - if I towel dry for about 10-15 first.
More people have told me my hair looks good in the past few days than in the past few years, literally. It's shiny and smooth and I am a total believer. Was considering getting Keratin until I read this post. |
Another believer here--thank you, OP!!! I have thick, shoulder-length, Asian hair and it normally takes me 10-15 minutes to get dry. This has halved my hair drying time. It is a bit heavy, but I find that if I switch arms, I am OK. The thing that I like the best is how the bristles are spaced to really get through thick hair.
I tend to shower in the evening and dry my hair before bed. When I wake up, my hair look smooth and the style looks "effortless" (i.e., neat, but casual). |
OK, well, I fell for an ad, then. I"m sure I'm not the first person on DCUM to do so. Anyway, an update. I received this keratin product on Monday and applied it as directed. My hair didn't look great when I first blow-dried it after using the product (monday night), but the next morning, it looked fantastic and has looked beautiful all week. Much smoother than my hair usually is. |
Another convert! I have thick but fine wavy hair, longer than shoulder length, that frizzes easily. I bought the brush dryer expecting to be disappointed. Huge surprise -- the brush dryer is fantastic. It's a little cumbersome, but really quick and my hair is professional blow-out smooth. |
OP here - I am starting to think I should get something out of Revlon! A spot on their commercials at least...! |
I would also appreciate some tips on how you make this dryer brush work for you. I tried it and it just left my hair poofy and slightly frizzy. Not smooth or shiny at all. My hair is healthy and shiny normally with 3A wavy/curly hair. I'd love to be able to make this work for me. |
I did mine yesterday on my WFH day (I'm the previous poster that went with the paddle brush ... I may need the round one, too ![]() |
Haha, you deserve it!! Another NP who ordered and really likes this thing. |
I got this 2 weeks ago. Have literally never gotten so many compliments on my hair. |
Another NP here and I'm getting compliments too. I have grazing wavy hair that frizzed easily and this has been great. Thanks OP. Revlon should definitely give you a reward! |
I got a paddle brush one and the first few times I got it it was fine but nothing super exciting. Then I started using a heat protectant spray that I got off Amazon and now the results are amazing. My hair is so shiny. |
Same!! I find that I still need my regular dryer to get the wetness out, but after a few minutes I switch to this and it is a game changer!!!!! OP, are you keeping track of your influence?! |
You guys, I got my hair colored today and told my hair stylist all about it-- she wrote down the name and said she's spread the word!!!
PS- Do you think it's worth getting the paddle AND the round brush? For variety? PPS- what is this heat protectant? |
Add me to the list of converts because of this darned thread. I expected to come back and say, "Ha... didn't work for me!"
Nope- I've in turn sold at least a dozen people on it. I think we are approaching cult status here, people. |
Same, I've sent the link to at least a dozen people saying "prepare for your life to be changed". I've been on DCUM for a long time, this is the post that made the most impact in my life. |
