Summer - daily showers.

What do you do after a BM at work? Serious question.

BM at work only if it can't be avoided. I wash the minute I get home. Serious answer.

Is it on your mind the whole time between the BM and when you get home?

Really, if cleaning is a challenge afterwards, why not try portable wipes? This is such a help, particularly if you find it hard to wipe clean postpartum. If I do this and wash my hands well I don't think about bathroom issues when I'm not at home. Problem solved.

I wait until at least 3 BMs before washing there. Sometimes only 2 if I'm on my period. Nobody has ever said anything. Honestly, what's toilet paper for?

I shower daily...sometimes twice if I work out at lunch.

My German au pair, however, will shower every 2-3 days. It's gross.

twice a day..morning post work out and at night before hitting the bed...

Every other day, unless there is a specific need to shower more. I don't stink. My toddler gets baths as needed, but usually not every day.

Curious if posters picked up their showering habits from their family while growing up or just decided for yourself what worked best.

I use them, but, since ~ 24 (way prepartum) I don't feel clean enough until I wash. Really wish bidets were common in the US.

And, of course I always shower after exercising, but, even at my best, I don't exercise more often than 3x a week.

Always after I work out, so five times a week. Other days maybe, maybe not -depending on what I did. I wash my hair once a week.

I am one of the dry-skin folks who stated that this is the reason why I do not shower daily. But of COURSE I shower if I work-out (which, unfortunately, I do not do daily, but that is another problem unto itself ). But dear heavens, yes, always after a work-out! I HATE how I feel -- sweaty and stinky -- after a work-out and cannot wait to feel clean and fresh again!

Do you poop everyday? How can you not wash your butts every day? Weird. I wouldn't have sex with dh if he didn't shower and I wouldn't feel comfortable having sex if I hadn't. Greasy hair and a smelly vagina is not so appealing and ladies don't kid yourselves, your vagina smells if you don't wash it everyday

Some smell pretty bad even if washed everyday. Men notice, but most won't tell you.

This what wipes, washcloths, and sponge baths are for.

Bidets come from Europe. Now there are many other places I could name to talk about hygiene.
