Really, if cleaning is a challenge afterwards, why not try portable wipes? This is such a help, particularly if you find it hard to wipe clean postpartum. If I do this and wash my hands well I don't think about bathroom issues when I'm not at home. Problem solved. |
I wait until at least 3 BMs before washing there. Sometimes only 2 if I'm on my period. Nobody has ever said anything. Honestly, what's toilet paper for? |
I shower daily...sometimes twice if I work out at lunch.
My German au pair, however, will shower every 2-3 days. It's gross. |
twice a day..morning post work out and at night before hitting the bed... |
Every other day, unless there is a specific need to shower more. I don't stink. My toddler gets baths as needed, but usually not every day. |
Curious if posters picked up their showering habits from their family while growing up or just decided for yourself what worked best. |
I use them, but, since ~ 24 (way prepartum) I don't feel clean enough until I wash. Really wish bidets were common in the US. And, of course I always shower after exercising, but, even at my best, I don't exercise more often than 3x a week. |
a combo of both |
Always after I work out, so five times a week. Other days maybe, maybe not -depending on what I did. I wash my hair once a week. |

Do you poop everyday? How can you not wash your butts every day? Weird. I wouldn't have sex with dh if he didn't shower and I wouldn't feel comfortable having sex if I hadn't. Greasy hair and a smelly vagina is not so appealing and ladies don't kid yourselves, your vagina smells if you don't wash it everyday |
I TOTALLY agree!!!! |
Some smell pretty bad even if washed everyday. Men notice, but most won't tell you. |
This what wipes, washcloths, and sponge baths are for. |
Bidets come from Europe. Now there are many other places I could name to talk about hygiene.
