Aren’t we lucky! We got another video to announce the closures for tomorrow and Thursday. Perhaps Dr T could have helped with the snow removal process instead of being in his warm, cushy office making videos.

Kudos to our custodial and maintenance crew who are putting in the real work this week.

(And kudos to all the teachers who are not getting paid to getting caught up but will still have at least 4 days to make up)

He's attempting to mimic what he thinks are the mannerisms and speech of a Black rapper. It's embarrassing and insulting. But most people don't think it's that deep so they overlook it.

You can’t go in and correct grammatical mistakes afterwards. I tried.

What I was trying to say is that teachers across the DMV area are using their own time to get caught up on work without getting paid (because as teachers, that’s what they do) but will still have to make up the days. Congratulations school systems, you just got several free days of work out of your staff.

(I say this as a parent who respects my children’s teachers for their hard work and dedication.)

I thought teachers are getting paid on snow days. I know they are working anyway.

I thought teachers are getting paid on snow days. I know they are working anyway.

We don’t get paid on the added days when the school year inevitably gets extended because we were paid on the snow days.
