The very end of the video, when they wish everyone happy holidays, is sufficient. Most of the video seemed to suggest that Taylor’s an unserious man avoiding work and trying to sidetrack employees who are actually productive. He didn’t channel Elf so much as Michael Scott attempting to make a video where he’s Buddy the Elf. All that was missing was Grace Rivera-Owen giving the camera a direct Jim Halpert-style look.

A simple email/text reminding everyone when winter break is/schools are closed along with a vanilla, “Wishing our tremendous staff as well as our students and mcps families a safe and happy holiday. See you when classes resume on January blah blah blah.”

The video comes off as nonsense in the face of all the alarming things he is doing.

No, it’s no sufficient. It’s a Christmas video. It was inappropriate and offensive to those who don’t celebrate.

Different people can have different reactions and I found it offensive. I also find it offense our band director every year only does Christmas songs and makes the kids where Santa hats.
